Faith... To my friends and Family home just to say I'm joyful

I've had a few moments of self doubt lately I suppose it's partly because cercumstance it's nice to know Not only do my parents, friends and family back home believe in me but the creator of the universe believes in me too. Need to pinch myself a second did I just say that. I suppose it's largely to do with the fact that because to many people in my life try to box me in and Suss me out when really unless you've known me for a long long time I don't think you really know what I'm capable of doing. Aka getting out here for one thing.. How often do we feel like being curled up into a big bubble that we can't let anyone really know who we are because if we do it's the end of life we know it. Enough of that ramble time to get down to what I really wanted to say..

I been pondering for a while what the heck am I doing here then the switch flipped actually considering how long I've been here and what challenges I had to face like I wanted to travel oz so why am I moaning so much about having to move again this time I'm excited I didn't really feel like coming to cairns in the first place where I really wanted to go since day one was Melbourne and now I am. But what clicked was actually I can do anything i don't need people to push me on anymore so many times in my life have I lived around a large amount of people telling me I can't, I will never amount to anything, etc.. But actually I can, a lot of jobs ask for a i can do.. Attitude well I've got that now... But can do comes through not my own strength but God so I feel that I'm traveling on my own because I need to keep this can do attitude so once told me I believe in you and so does Jesus well matter of a fact the idea that God believes me kicks but.. Even better that you lot at home believe in me... Okay I've been tired a lot lately and missing home but I love the idea that actually that in those times I've felt Gods love surrounding me. Truth is I'm fighting my battle with God and What comes to mind that maybe I'm forgetting to put on my armor and stop listening to lies and live in the truth I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I'm saying my prayers and I'm believe that whatever lies ahead it's for the good..

There's a song called I'm walking away from the troubles in my life I think possible Simon Webb from blue sung it I can't remember or maybe Craig David not a clue... But I'm living in the now and not looking a hindsight as my mum said to me the other day.. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

So here's me believing in God, myself and what truths there are and I'm traveling not on my own but in the foot steps of my God!!!!

Miss you All... Love you All..

What am I living for...

EIt's been two and half months now since I've left England. I constantly wonder what if I wasn't here a lot at the moment. I suppose I'm not sure but I'm here so I'll just try to live in the moments of everyday. I've not had much chance to explore but I really need to save up and I hope I can very soon. First thing to do would have to be the Great Barrier Reef hands down. Maybe taking a leep of faith and bungee jumping. Time will tell... I'm looking forward to the adventures to come but for now I'm in Innisfail up north of Queensland near Carins all is good it's a quiet town not much to do I'm staying in a hostel with 14 people two girls and myself the rest are boys, There a great group pretty lively. Mostly since I've been here I've worked at a coffee shop in the town as well as cleaning the hostel. Though last week I worked sorting bananas on a farm which I really enjoyed however I'm not needed this week so I won't be working there. However they may decide they need me again, it does make saving up money difficult. I've had a chance to go to the local catholic church last weekend which was a experience itself I'm not sure I like a service following liturgy however I found the preach great talking about Kingdom principles. I had a lovely walk around the town a couple of weeks ago it was very stuffy and hot but it was nice to see some of the town.

I download the new Soul Survivor album yesterday which Im really enjoying listening to it's got some fab songs with great lyrics that have really reminded me of where my strength needs to come from. Despite the battles I have with my mind at the moments some where in there I believe that things happen for a reason to change us and enhance our knowledge in knowing our strengths and weakness. I know that I can't rely on my own strength half the time. I feel that wherever I am I have something to hold onto the I'm trying not to have regrets and just leap as far as I can.

I'm missing home so much at the moment but I think that's because it's getting so close to Christmas time that I feel far away from home and what's to come.

Anyways that's all for now

Ill blog soon...

Oz sights

Headspace

Is weird how we worry about so much in our life time and how so much can get clogged up in our brains and get us stressed out and worried... I've personally had enough of it.. So I made a packed with myself that I wouldn't let worries get the best of me. Seeing how that panned out was fun.. Still wondering how I swear there's a switch in my brain I wish I could turn of the worries. But some how my grip on the cross has help a bit yes I'm being Christian again.. But in my head now im starting to make me own way in what I believe it nice. I went to a well little church service this Sunday in Brisbane it was really lovely the church itself looked so out of place in the city around it. The service was really lovely as in was a adult and infant baptism/ confirmation not quiet sure... But it was great to be part of this families special occasion. They begun the service talking about heaven I didn't know where she was going in her talk but it was nice to just rest and focus on God for more than I have been lately.

But why you worrying your thinking? Well a couple of weeks ago I was told that I would have to leave my job in narrabri and move onto Brisbane at first I was like huh okay then I suppose I delt with it thinking well maybe Gods plan is that he doesn't want me to feel icelated I didn't really know... So I left it.. It was sad leaving the lovely family I was living with but I was also excited for the next part of my adventure ahead.

I arrived in Brisbane Friday and found out today Tuesday that I was being flying upto to carins tonight in Queensland. I'm staying for one night in Carins and then going onto a town called Innisfail I'm staying in a hotel called crowns hotel.  This hotel is also the place I will be working which means cleaning and hopefully bar work. But also I will be working in a cafe too. Hopefully also some work for my visa.

To finish of I'm gonna list some highlights of my trip so far...

Going to school assemblies to see one of the kids talk about there trip
Climbing rocks and mountains
Seeing amazing views at sawn rocks and mt Kaputar national park
Shooting pigs
Going to the Melbourne cup
Taking part in a fashion show
Baking lots of cakes
Hanging out with the family
Coming to Brisbane
Exploring the city

Pictures
So that's my adventure stay tune for more updates...

Beautiful moments

Seems we can't really predict where we will be in our life time and when were gonna be alive for that moment in time whether we good enough or strong enough to deal with the split second changes in our day to day life. We can glimpse a moment of happiness but whether in the time we will remember what we were turely happy about. I often find myself wondering how can something so small be so wonderful and how can something so big be just as wonderful. I'm thinking about the moments that we've captured as we've spend time with a friend or family member or the times that we've seen something amazing and out there. The amount of times I've seen something and gone wow to myself. Like is completely impossible I find to turely capture a moment or a scence and turely take in the whole thing in one image. I remember saying anyone can have a believe in something but whether they experience that moment that believe themself they won't turely know the experice unless theve experienced it for themselves. Take the stars for example I've seen the amazing ness of it all and tired to take a picture but still not be able to capture the stars in all there glory. Maybe all we need to do is believe e that what we experience can't be argued or challenged because it's out experience whether someone believes or not we've still expericed it in our own way.

Maybe a moment we've seen know turely knows what it actually feels like experiencing that moment that memory that event. Maybe all we've got to do is live in that moment and try and try not to forget. It's like we've need for a while just to take a mental picture and believe in the relatity of the moment.

In a far away land

I felt like posting and sharing my sadness and the joyful ness of the Ozzie sky...

I had a tingle in my bones this evening as I got out of the car after having a Chinese some how is don't seem to stomach them that well... Maybe it's the Greese and stodgy food that comes with it... Or maybe it's no Cinta... Moving on after spending a day cleaning and baking I've realise how much I miss home and how sad it's made me feel in the last hour.. I don't know if it was seeing my mum and cousin on Skype or being around someone else's family and not mine I don't know or maybe it's cause I'm mega tired and in need of some sleep ha I don't know... However I do miss everyone dearly or the time. I have to see in this way i miss lots of little things like hugs from my dad, my brothers and sisters silly faces, my mothers yummy cooking and how I can talk to her about my day.. Specially if I need a rant ha !! I miss certain people at certain times like one friend when I look at the stars without them or watch a tv show and there not there.. I miss smiling friends, there's been moments when random stuff has happened but after a while I don't remember what it was but all I know is that in that certain moment I thought of you.. Maybe it's talking about Miranda that I miss my sister and my sort of sister Katie.. Or maybe it's when I drink whiskey that I remember Ian or it's when I see a the dog and I think of Sophie or when I see the plastic snake I think of Laura, or when I think of hot sunshine I wish you were all here... Next time I feel like I should right all those memories down because I do have a similar memory to that or dory from finding nemo.

I'm rambling again... So as I'm getting out of the car tonight I look up and I can't believe it the sky is like a blanket of stars that were labeled and places surely there not random? Even though it was chilly I felt warm knowing not only are there people over the otherside of the world whom love me but also I have someone whose with me all the time. I'm sorry I don't have a good enough camera to show you what it looks like maybe Ill try another time I don't know but you don't have to go far in oz at night to see the amazing sky...

From in the middle of no where

G'day,

So I've been here for two weeks and what a fabulous two weeks it has been. My expectations have be succeeded, I've had so much fun in my first week enjoying the free time to chill and enjoy the beach sun and sea... Meeting loads of new people having fun on nights out and eating at random hours in the day.. Learning more about the oz way I love this country already. It's great traveling on your own because you can do what you feel like doing not what others feel like doing and most of the time I can find people to hang out and do the same things together. I've met many different. Cultures as well as many English people.

So now I'm less confused about where I'm gonna be for the next few months. I'm not longer in Melbourne I'm staying with the melbournes.. Lee-Anne (mum), Nigel (dad), Billy (14) Paddy (12) Joe (10) Ana (8) I'm in a area in New South Wales, the farm house is 10 minuets from the local town Narrabri. They have four cats (buttercup, Cat, patches and coco) and six kittens which are only a couple of weeks old, As well as a dog mika.

I got to see more of Australia when I drove across the country from one state to the next. First time driving in a new country luckily It was on the same side of the road but I was driving a seven seat... Automatic. Was good fun but a very long journey... Lots to see along the way enjoying the sunset and the varse roads and trees driving is so much nicer I'm oz than England as the country is so big you can drive for km and not see anyone else. We stop on the way at twommba and the kids got there new shoes. Then enjoyed a lovely meal in a local pub, Yes they've got pubs in oz. over the weekends I got the chance to see more of Brisbane City enjoying a ferry ride on the river with Lee-Anne and the two young kids. I also got shown around the shopping mall by Ana and Joe as I watched them play games go up and down the elevators. We also went to see smurfs 2 which had only just come out in oz. Also enjoyed dinner a place called Jimmy's on the Mall. Brisbane is a massive city I hope to maybe see more at a later date but here's some pictures

After arriving here in narrabri I felt completely blessed to be spending time with this lovely family enjoying having a giggle together. When your not being mean to each other the boys a great to watch as they enjoy playing together on the play station and Ana draws lipstick all over her face to make me laugh. I had a lovely day outside with them jumping into the pool watching them all have fun together. I've be helping around the house doing washing, making lunch playing silly games together. Put the younger ones to bed making things together it's all good fun.

It's been really nice to meet more of there family over the last couple of days and enjoy shoot targets making earrings enjoying good food.

Stay tuned for more on the explorations of Rosie

In considering the journey that is ahead in 40 days im excited to discover where it is that I well be living in australia. God has already begun to challenged me over the last couple of weeks I felt I wanted to share some thoughts with you. Over the last couple of years things have been extremely difficult and have had a massive affect on my relationship with Jesus. Over the time I've spent looking back in hindsight I don't think I could change anything because I feel I wouldnt be where I am right now in the current challenges that I face.

I'm being challenged in my faith specially in understanding healing in my life and other peoples lives. What does God want with me, if I struggle so much and if this person doesn't get healed or this person does. However I battle with this it makes me angry and frustrated with my relationship with God. However now is the time to dust of my feet as a friend once send to me. I'm hopping on a plane in just over 40 days time and I'm so excited for the new chapter in my life as I said before. However somewhere alone i wont be because in the depths of my heart some where in there i still can't know anything different that actually im not alone despite the umpteen times I say otherwise.

Now though as I look at the young people that I have come into contact with im completely challenged how my faith is not as big as there's. However in conversation with another friend this time in my life is the most challenging for my faith. I so hope than my nails can withstand the grip that I have as i cling to the cross.

However as i spoke about Sunday on my last time at SICF i really felt God gave me the message I had to speak to that church and also felt God was also speaking this message to me. Peter impossible he reminds me of me. One minuet he really believe Jesus was lord however later on he denies Jesus. Later regrets this massively and I in some ways tries to forget it later on after Jesus dies. But Jesus knows... however he shows peter grace when he ask Peter in John 21 do you love me? and peter replies you know I love you... Jesus responses by saying feed my sheep in which he asks peter this three times. When peter realises what Jesus is doing he doesn't feel worthy to be forgiven however Jesus gives him a calling again telling him to follow him and minster to the nations teaching what jesus taught him. In this he shows peter his grace and its not just peter he's speaking to its everyone. The challenge is that "Jesus calls the not good enough's" (Rob Bell) he picked murders, lies, thefts, sinners and the forgotten to take on the Missio Dei.

As to what God has asked me to go to Australia for I suppose I will discover this...

I'm Good Enough For Jesus

Thanks for Reading

Much Love to you All

The New Chapter,

As many of you know im very much a big reader lately and enjoy a good book. I like when a chapter ends of the part of series on a TV ends and there’s always this buzz I find, to turn the page to a new chapter or a new series, discovering whats next. I personally enjoy then endings that have a gripping finale where somewhere along the line in the story the character goes through something life altering that just makes you want to read on. This is what I'm excited for in my own story or lets just say my part in Gods story. Now I’ve finished my studying for now and I’m at the end of a chapter in my life where i’ve got to wait to see what the call is next on my life. In some ways I feel the adventure to Australia will be a break from Youth Work and what I currently know and a chance to discover more about who I am as a person. I feel im sure everyone has those moments in there life where they seek to discover who they really are.

I feel like its time to burst the current bubble im in and fly down feet first into a new chapter in my adventure. Why Australia and why traveling you ask? Well i felt that for a longtime i really wanted to do some form of traveling and living and learning new cultures i felt i could just go somewhere without being completely confident that it was where God and where I wanted to be. I really felt for the last free years being 24 and having no ties to anything at home I felt that it was the op tune moment to step into a new world and discover that actually the world is my oyster as the proverb says. I feel for me to do this trip will be a chance to me to gain independence and discover myself and God further as to what actually will happen only God knows.

I'm extremely proud of my own achievements so far and thats saying a lot coming from me. I really feel like dispute how far away I've been God has still had a hand of everything I've done. Even the path I take hasn't been easy. When I was standing on the edge of the ramp going up to receive my degree in june all i could think of that feel of I need to pinch myself just to check im still not dreaming. and now smacking my face on the ground in front of me. I wanted to be colorful and glamours for the day but i suppose theres a price to pay for beauty. But after taking the first step and being completely confused as to where I was going the dress was worth wearing and thank goodness Im still standing. When finally getting the end of the stage it kind of felt like that was the hardest part of the whole four years i worked my butt of studying. But somehow i did the simplest but scariest task ever walking across a stage.

Next step or leap is traveling on my own to new parts of the world I've never been before. I think im joining the members of the law family that have the traveling bug.. I think I've made many long lists of things I need to remember to take or to do while I'm traveling out to Oz...

stay tuned for whats gonna be happening. I will try my best to keep you updated as much as my fingers will allow me... sorry if all my spelling extra is difficult or my wording is hard to understand but it comes with the terrority of reading a blog written by me. bear with me :D :D

Love you all

Rosie xx
